August Presentation:
"A Fresh Look at Boundaries"
Denslow Brown, CPO-CD®, CPO®, MCC
Boundaries are enormously important for every business. Creating boundaries lets us communicate clearly, protect ourselves legally, and manage expectations successfully. It smooths the way with clients, co-workers and team members, colleagues, family, venders, etc. Boundaries are critical to develop for those who are just starting out – but those who have been in business for years will benefit from periodic boundary reviews.
Led by an industry veteran, this will be an open participation session designed to help each of us identify what boundaries we need to clean up. We’ll talk about specific areas of our businesses that benefit from good boundaries – and review the three steps to successful boundaries.
Denslow Brown became a professional organizer in 1974 (in Connecticut, New York City) and is now an international mentor and ADHD coach living in Douglas County, Missouri.
She is a proud member of the St. Louis NAPO chapter and has been active in both NAPO and ICD (NSGCD) since their inceptions – she’s held several volunteer, leadership and trainer roles and been honored with NAPO’s President’s and Founders’ Awards and ICD’s Judith Kolberg Award.
A CPO, CPO-CD, ICD Master Trainer and International Coaching Federation Master Certified Coach, Denslow has provided workshops and training for more than 40 years for the public and at ICD, NAPO, JALO, ADDA and CHADD conferences.
She is credentialed as a Master Certified Coach by Int’l Coaching Federation and founded Coach Approach Training to bring a simple coaching philosophy and skills into the best practices of our organizing and productivity field.
Her coach training program is accredited by ICF and supports eight coaching credentials – each of which reflects the integration of coaching into our organizer and productivity specialties. She is most proud of Coaching Essentials, the 8-week stand-alone, live training on basic coaching competence that has been offered over 40 times to more than 350 people.
