Intentional Networking: Making Your Minutes Matter

Have you ever left a networking event with business cards without talking to that person or making a meaningful connection?

Your first impression impacts your level of rapport and the way others perceive your credibility, personality, and expertise. 

Rhonda Travers, Founder and President of Travers Training and Consulting, will help you recognize ways to be intentional to make your minutes matter at networking events.

Rhonda Travers is a business-oriented leader recognized for making a positive impact, building teams and talent, and driving results.  As Founder & President of Travers Training & Consulting, Rhonda leverages her 30 years of corporate leadership & consulting experience to help small businesses and nonprofit organizations reduce turnover and manager fatigue by creating a productive and engaged workplace. She shares her unique approach to training and process improvement through People Advisory Services, Training Workshops, Leadership Development, and Speaking Engagements. 

Rhonda is also committed to making a difference through positive community development. She has fulfilled multiple volunteer leadership roles over 17 years including the St. Louis Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Board of Governors, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Women’s Leadership Network Steering Committee, American Club Association (ACA) Chesterfield Business Club, Little Black Book - Women in Business, and the American Cancer Society Relay For Life Event Leadership Team. 

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Millikin University, Rhonda completed the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Master Practitioner and Certified Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) certifications.

Chapter Members do not need to register for this meeting.  Guests can register for $20 on our website.

REMEMBER - Please sign in at the membership table when you first arrive. 
Veteran members - don't forget to bring your name tag.  If this is your first in-person meeting, we will create a name tag for you.

A reminder that our trade table is available to swap out business-related resources, such as books, bags, and home office materials.
